Jennifer Fusaro, M.S., CCC-SLP
I am a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with several years of clinical experience. I received my Master of Science Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Touro College in Brooklyn, NY and my undergraduate degree in Speech, Language Pathology and Audiology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Throughout my education, I worked in a number of clinical settings including Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT specializing in acute care and out-patient rehabilitative services including the conducting and interpreting of Modified Barium Swallow studies. My initial work experience at Backus Hospital included acute care and out-patient services as part of an amazing multi-disciplinary group of therapists and physicians where I often worked collaboratively with neurologists, radiologists, physical and occuptional therapists. I also evaluated patients post-stroke and traumatic brain injury for swallowing, language and cognitive impairments.
Following my acute care experience, I worked at a private practice servicing pediatrics and adults with a variety of disorders including early language development, tongue thrust swallow, articulation and phonological disorders, school age receptive and expressive language, language based learning disabilities including word retrieval and auditory language processing, voice, stuttering and stroke. I have also focused on literacy, reading comprehension and higher level language skills.
Amanda Field, M.S., CCC-SLP
Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut in 2003 and her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University in 2005. Amanda has practiced speech therapy in a number of settings including hospitals, public schools and private practice. The majority of her experience has been in the school and private setting where she has worked extensively with toddlers, pre-schoolers and school-aged children with an extensive array of communication delays.
Amanda is a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech language pathology in the state of Connecticut.
Amanda specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of communication disorders which include: receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, social skills and other developmental delays. Amanda works closely with individuals and their families to facilitate effective treatment and therapy plans.
Simran Kaur, M.S. CCC-SLP
Simran is a board certified member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Connecticut. She received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University in Maryland. Simran has practiced in a number of settings including: public schools, teletherapy, and medical settings. The majority of her clinical experience includes servicing individuals with Autism and pre-school aged students with a variety of speech and language disorders. Simran works closely with clients and their families to facilitate effective communication skill development and implementation.
